Biographical / Historical

Richard Milo (Mike) Graves was born July 5, 1896, and passed September 6, 1977. Milo was a musician, he played the drums in his brothers band and won awards for his talents. Milo served in World War I as a musician, playing the clarinet. After his service in the military, he worked at the Peacedale mill for over 50 years.

Clarence (Cad) Graves was born October 19, 1886, and passed October 20, 1969. Clarence was a musician and organized a Bugle Drum Corps around 1907 in Wakefield, Rhode Island. He also taught instruments in Wakefield to the youth. He served in World War I as a musician.

Edith Marcileta Graves Hazard was born July 14, 1891, and passed in 1977. She is the sister of Clarence and Milo. Marcileta married William Alfred Hazard on August 20, 1921.
